Mandalay Wedding Table Plans and Table CardsWe have two styles of Wedding Table Plans; "Listed" table plans and "Circular" table plans. Both styles can be prepared using either table numbers or table names (table names incur an additional cost). All our Wedding Table Plans are made to order to match your wedding stationery and colour theme. We personalise each table plan with the bride & groom names, wedding date and table numbers/names. We then complete your guests' names in the font of your choice. Please click here to see the insert fonts we offer and let us know whether you would like them printed in black or grey. We need four weeks to complete your table plan for you, we would like to send the table plan to you 10 days before your wedding, so ideally we need you to supply us with the guest list 2 weeks before. Alternatively, we do offer an express service guaranteeing your plan within ten working days from receiving your initial order and final guest list. Circular Wedding Table PlansYour table plan prepared using table numbers or names, with each guest positioned around a circle. Planning Your Wedding Table PlanMost wedding reception table layouts have a long top table for the bridal party and round tables for the guests. A round top table is usually avoided as the bride and grooms' view would be obscured by others on the table, and several of the bridal party would have their backs to other guests. The bridal party traditionally comprises of the bride and groom, the bride and grooms natural parents, the best man and chief bridesmaid. Even where the parents are separated, remarried or divorced, it is still usual for only the natural parents to sit at the top table. Other family members, such as step-parents, are not part of the traditional bridal party but are treated as honoured guests. As honoured guests, they should be given importance by being seated on a table close to the top table. An honoured guests' table is a good place to sit bridesmaids and ushers, so they would join stepparents, and partners of separated parents, on this special table. It is best to sit young bridesmaids and page boys with their parents. Top table seating arrangement for the traditional bridal partyChief Bridesmaid>Grooms Father>Bride's Mother>Groom>Bride>Bride's Father>Grooms Mother>Best Man If this seating arrangement does not suit your circumstances alter it bearing in mind that it is usual for the bride and groom to sit in the middle of the top table, and for the gender of those seated to alternate. It is also usual that the hosts of the wedding, whoever they may be, are seated at the top table. With divorced or separated parents, ask them what they would like to happen. Guest seating arrangementsYour close family and friends should be seated nearest the top table. If you have round tables, seat guests with partners side by side. If you are having long tables, partners are usually seated opposite each other. It is customary to alternate male and female guests and for children to be seated with their parents. Make your guests feel more comfortable and relaxed by seating them with people they know or have something in common. Group similar ages together such as aunts and uncles, friends, work colleagues etc. Wedding Table CardsHaving matching table cards to co-ordinate with your table plan is a good idea and helps your guests identify their table easily. These cards are designed to match the numbers in your table plan. Click here to see our range. Our table cards are thick A5 cards that can be positioned in the centre of each table with a frame or a clip of your choice, or supplied by your venue. Table numbers are £5 each. As an alternative to numbering your tables you can use table names. This is particularly effective if you have a theme running through your wedding. You could use places you have travelled to together, flowers, bands you both love, super-heroes or famous people from the past. Many people are opting for names instead of numbers for their tables, as the issue of a perceived hierarchy is removed - guests seated at table fourteen no longer feel they are at the bottom of the list! Table names are £9.50 each. Table Plans Prices for our two standard table plan layouts

These prices are for the bride and groom names and wedding date in calligraphy and table numbers in your theme colour. If you would prefer the table numbers to be in silver or gold, please add £1 per table.
Our table plans are produced using museum standard, acid free mount board. The colour is a soft ivory. If you would like this mount in an alternative colour, please let us know. If you would like your mount in silver or gold, please add an additional £20 to the total price.
If you would like each table to have a name instead of table numbers, please add an extra £2.50 per table. This cost is due to each table name being designed in calligraphy especially for you.
For help with pricing please contact us for a quote. If you have an unusual layout or additional requirements, please email us your information and we will do our best to accommodate you. We supply your table plan un-framed unless stated otherwise, if you would like it framed we recommend you do it locally, as sending glass by post is expensive and hazardous.
